Meghan Payment Joins Weilers as Articling Student

Meghan Payment attended the University of Manitoba as a 2013 Loran Scholar and successfully completed a Bachelor of Arts with specializations in Psychology and Indigenous Studies. She continued her education and obtained her Juris Doctor from the Robson Hall Faculty of Law in 2020. After a seven year stint away, Meghan returned to her hometown of Thunder Bay for her articling term. She is excited for her potential Call to the Bar date of January 2021.

During law school Meghan enjoyed balancing academics with getting involved as demonstrated through her positions of Vice-President Internal for the Manitoba Law Students’ Association and Senior Editor of the Manitoba Law Journal.

Outside of the office you can usually find her outside, either on the water paddleboarding or hiking.
