Mark Lahn is the latest associate to join the Weilers Law team. Mark brings a unique background of experience to his practice after spending over 10 years in the technology and marketing sectors. During this time, Mark worked closely with the world’s largest technology firms to help them navigate the complex regulatory frameworks governing network communications.
Mark is a graduate with First Class Standing from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University. During law school, he mentored students by serving as Articles Editor for the Lakehead Law Journal and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada for the Thunder Bay and District Injured Workers Support Group.
Mark is a lifelong learner who is continuously looking for ways to develop new skills and experience. Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ryerson University and an accelerated Diploma of Paralegal Studies from Seneca College with a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is currently completing his Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in leadership from Dalhousie University.
Mark currently has a diverse practice in labour and employment, corporate/commercial, privacy, administrative law, and general litigation. He leverages his business experience to provide clients with practical and solution-focused advice that is tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
Outside of the office, Mark enjoys travelling to new areas of the world, working on DIY home improvement projects, and spending time exploring the city with his partner and two dogs, Suzy and Thunder.
