JESSICA BEVILACQUA

ASSOCIATE

Jessica is an Associate Lawyer where her practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters, real estate transactions, and wills and estates planning and administration. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, she is proud to serve the community she calls home. Jessica is committed to helping clients navigate legal decisions with clarity and confidence. Growing up as part of a small family business, she brings a practical, real-world understanding to her corporate and commercial work.

Jessica returned to the firm as an associate in 2023 after completing her articling placement and as a summer law student with Weilers. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba’s Robson Hall Faculty of Law, where she was an active member of the school community. Her involvement included serving on the executive of the Robson Hall Mediators, volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada, and completing an externship with the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic supporting entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations. Jessica’s academic achievements were recognized through awards for highest standing in corporate law, criminal law, wills and estates, and family law, as well as placement on the Dean’s Honour List.

Prior to law school, Jessica graduated from Lakehead University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Pre-Law.

When she is not practicing law, Jessica enjoys adventuring with her loveable golden retriever, Goose, camping throughout Northern Ontario, and spending time with friends and family. She also remains active in the community through her volunteer work with the United Way of Thunder Bay GenNext Cabinet and as a member of the Braiding Diversity into Justice Committee.
