KYLE COSTA

Kyle obtained his JD from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2023. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours bachelor’s degree in Applied Life Sciences from Lakehead University in 2020, where he graduated on the Dean’s list and was an active member of many clubs.

Kyle originally began working for Weilers in the summer of 2022 as a student following his second year of law school and was thrilled to be able to return as an articling student. It was always his intention to return to his hometown of Thunder Bay to build a career for himself after completing school in Ottawa.

Kyle is interested in estate planning, real estate, and corporate & commercial law, but is open to exploring all the different areas of law and appreciates all of the learning opportunities along the way. He hopes that his career in law will enable him to be more active in Thunder Bay through networking and building important relationships with clients when the time comes.

Outside the job, Kyle enjoys playing and watching hockey and is a devout Ottawa Senators fan (for better or for worse). He hopes to get more involved in the minor hockey programs in Thunder Bay. He also enjoys listening to a wide variety of music and trying to better himself as a musician.
